Kawaii Craft Life: Frosty Treat Charms
Our beautiful needlecraft book, Kawaii Craft Life, just turned two! What a lovely, challenging, fun, and seriously colorful journey it’s been. We’re beyond proud of our baby, with its 52 unique patterns, and full-color step-by-step instructions. (The back cover says ’35 kawaii style projects,’ but many of the projects have multiple designs, and the grand total is 52. That’s a lot of cuteness to stitch!)
Because it’s mid-summer, I thought it’s the perfect time to share the ‘Frosty Treat Charms,’ from the Feltcraft section of our book. (In case you didn’t know, Kawaii Craft Life has three needlecraft sections: Feltcraft, Counted Cross Stitch, and Embroidery.)

Aren’t they the sweetest? They’re the perfect size for your bag or backpack. (Not to mention a positively adorable necklace charm for someone special.)

The illustrated instructions for each frosty treat makes creating super easy. (If you’ve bought any of Trellis & Thyme’s adorable kawaii feltcraft patterns, or our new quilt block patterns, you know that we love making illustrated instructions!)

My favorite part is all the customization you can do. Want a tropical rocket pop? Go for it. How ’bout a chocolate cone? Or maybe you’re craving a butterscotch fudge bar? The possibilities are endless! (Oh, that’s another very cool thing about Kawaii Craft Life: Many of the projects include alternate color suggestions, to help spark your creativity.)

If you’re looking for a fun and colorful summertime needlecraft project, you’ll definitely want to try one (or all!) of the Frosty Treat Charms. 🍦💗
